Dr Rosario “Marie” Igualada, is one of the first Obstetrician and Gynecologists in Lucena City, Quezon. She finished BS Zoology and Doctor of Medicine as “Iskolar ng Bayan” at the University of the Philippines. She continued her residency training at Philippine General Hospital, and became one of the pioneers of the Fellows of Philippine Obstetrical and Gynecological Society (FPOGS) in the Quezon Province.

She was also a founding member of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology Society of the Philippines (PAGSPHIL). She is also a member of Philippine Society for Cervical Pathology and Colposcopy (PSCPC). She founded Igualada Maternity Clinic in 1985, and since then, she has already catered to multiple generations of families and women in their province.
